Tail number to aircraft type (scratchpad trick)

1. Most OOOI pages don't print the aircraft registration.

2. Put the tail in the scratchpad

   Type your N-number (or international registration) into the CDU/MCDU scratchpad before you photograph the page. It appears on screen, OOOIPilot captures it, and our global registry (500k+ aircraft) fills in the make, model, and ICAO type automatically.

3. Example

   Type N77573 into the scratchpad and OOOIPilot logs the tail and fills B738 (or whatever the type is) for you.

4. No scratchpad access?

   Just type the tail into the Tail field on the review card - the type still auto-fills.
