A reminder to finish the leg you left open

Scan before pushback, fly, land - and get reminded to close the leg while you are still at the gate.

The logbook list on a phone: a search box, a date sort, aircraft filter chips, then one row per leg showing route, flight number, date, tail, type and block time.
  1. Scanning before pushback saves an open leg with the OUT time on it. Scan the OOOI page again after you land and the times merge into one flight.

  2. What the reminder does

If you open the app at the destination of a leg you never closed, it says so - once, for that leg. It is the moment you can still read the times off the page, rather than three days later from memory.

  3. You switch it on yourself

It needs to know you have arrived, so it is off until you enable it in Settings and allow location. Nothing is checked in the background: the app looks only while you have it open, and only at legs from the last day.

  4. Where your location goes

Nowhere. The comparison between where you are and where the leg was going happens on your device, and the result is a message on your own screen.
